Our client, a large shipping company with a significant presence in the GCC are now looking to hire an IT Manager to provide and manage a robust, reliable and secure IT infrastructure to meet their optimum performance from the information technology systems. Other duties will include liaising with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, you will devise internal policies and procedures to ensure effective and uninterrupted IT services to all end users at all times, as well as regularly monitoring the reliability of the service to address shortcomings, to further strengthen the IT infrastructure services. The ideal candidate should have at least five years professional IT experience and should work comfortably with all major operating systems. It is desirable that you have had exposure to �Shipnet� system which is specifically related to the shipping industry but this is not an essential requirement. The successful candidate should be willing to work within a dynamic, fast paced and growing industry. Experience working in shipping would be ideal but is not essential. To be considered for this role you should have at least five years IT experience and be Degree educated.
